As the Communications Director at UC Berkeley Social Welfare, Erin leads a talented team responsible for marketing, events, design, and Berkeley Social Welfare's digital presence. She is passionate about sharing stories that illuminate complicated social and political issues.
Prior to working at UC Berkeley, Erin directed communications at Pacific School of Religion and the Higher Education Recruitment Consortium, a national nonprofit that advances inclusion in academic workplaces. She has also worked in the nonprofit sector to support small business owners, immigrant and refugee communities, and global health.
Originally from Florida, Erin holds her MFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design and her BA in Political Science and Peace and Conflict Studies from Guilford College.
Erin enjoys crafts, biking, and attempting to answer her three-year-old’s never-ending stream of “why” ’s.
