Jean Johnstone specializes in Arts & Cultural Policy, and works on education, affordable housing, and workforce development issues, among others. In addition to teaching and researching at UC Berkeley, she is a public policy consultant and analyst at the municipal and state level. She has an international background of work in Russia, Hong Kong, and most recently Brazil. She's excited to apply her public policy knowledge and practice here at the School of Social Welfare.
