Ballet folklórico: Social Welfare major Gabriela Ruiz celebrates Mexican culture through dance

Graciela Ruiz, a fourth-year social welfare major, began dancing folklórico when she was 5 after her mom enrolled her in community classes near her hometown, Madera, in the Central Valley. She is now the co-artistic director of Ballet Folklórico Reflejos de Mexico, a student group on campus.
