Denise Schiller is the Academic Personnel Human Resources Analyst. Before joining Berkeley Social Welfare, she previously worked at UC Berkeley's Burch Center for Tax Policy and Public Finance, housed within the Department of Economics, and UC San Diego's Alzheimer's Disease Cooperative Study, housed within the Neurosciences Department.
Denise's background is in journalism and she has worked as a copywriter, technical, and medical writer. A California native, Denise has also lived in Seattle, Virginia, and Milwaukee. She has a Master's degree in children's literature and loves to read. In her free time, she also takes tap dance lessons, enjoying hiking and bike riding, and spends time with her family and cats.
