Bio/CV: 

Eunkyung (Kyung) Chung (she/her) is a PhD candidate in the School of Social Welfare at the University of California, Berkeley. Through her scholarship, she aims to promote the positive development of disabled youth using critical, ecological, and strengths-based perspectives. Her research focuses on understanding the social-emotional aspects of development—such as identity development or experiences of (bias-based) bullying—and on leveraging programs and supports within K–12 and higher education contexts. As an educator, her pedagogy is guided by the principles of disability justice and universal design, and she is committed to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and collaborative learning environment where diverse learners can bring their passion and interests and grow together as a community.

Dissertation Title: Toward a comprehensive understanding of bullying involvement among disabled and nondisabled students: Analyses of cross-informant concordance, longitudinal relationships, and school-based supports
