Trainings to Identify and Mitigate Biases 

• UC Managing Implicit Bias Series is a six-course online training series designed to increase awareness of implicit bias and reduce its impact at the University of California (UC). The series reinforces the UC diversity, equity, and inclusion values that enable the University to attract and retain a top talent workforce, and it further supports the UC commitment to developing effective leaders and managers of people. It is intended to supplement existing location programs and resources.

• Implicit Bias Module series from The Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race and Ethnicity at the Ohio State University. This course is divided into four self-paced video modules designed to help participants uncover their own biases and learn strategies for addressing them.

• “Know” Implicit Bias from UCLA Office of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. With a combination of videos and scholarship materials, this resource provides a comprehensive overview of implicit bias including consequences, countermeasures, meta-analyses, and more. 

• Implicit Bias Series developed by the UC Davis Center for Educational Effectiveness. Three-part series with tools that address the following key topics: 1) What is it and Why Does It Matter? 2) Creating Awareness and Reducing Implicit Bias; 3) Counting and Preventing Biases in the Classroom.
