Field Consultant and Lecturer
Susana Fong is a field consultant and lecturer at the School of Social Welfare.
Prior to joining Berkeley Social Welfare, Fong spent nearly two decades at On Lok Senior Health, where she served as both a frontline caseworker and program manager overseeing the clinical and administrative operations of one of the agency's day health centers. Her professional experiences also include roles as a protective services worker and supervisor in Adult Protective Services and her most recent post at Asian Health Services, where she helped to develop and manage the nonprofit's integrated behavioral health program.
Fong is a UC Berkeley alumna. She earned her MSW in the Gerontology concentration and her undergraduate degrees in social welfare and linguistics.
