Dora Iva Turkovich joined UCB SW as the Events Coordinator in January 2023. She organizes and manages events put on by the school, including lectures, community events, and graduation. Her role has extended into Alum Relations, hoping to rebuild connections with Social Welfare alums. Dora has worked in events for over 13 years. Before joining Berkeley, Dora was the Business Manager for the Croatian American Cultural Center in Sacramento, CA. There she managed a variety of events, ranging from private receptions to large festivals. She holds a BS in Psychology from Saint Mary's College of California.
In her free time, Dora enjoys ballet, swimming, thrifting, reading, and searching for new music.
