Workstations and Ergonomics

At this time, the School of Social Welfare provides one workstation per full-time employee in Haviland Hall. Workstations for instructional program-related employees are outfitted with a campus-approved sit-stand desk, adjustable chair, monitor, laptop and docking station, keyboard, and mouse.

If the provided equipment does not meet your ergonomic needs, you may be eligible for the Computer Ergonomics Matching Funds Program....

Room Reservations

Space in Haviland Hall managed by UC Berkeley Social Welfare can be reserved by employees and doctoral student researchers through bCal. Haviland facilities are generally available 7:00am - 7:00pm, Monday - Friday.

Please submit requests at least three days in advance to guarantee that reservations are approved on time. Please ensure that after your use of any room, furniture is returned to its original layout, all trash is removed, and windows and doors are closed and locked when you leave.
