Avni Panchal (MSW '11) to Deliver Keynote at 2025 West Coast Child Welfare Trainer’s Conference

Avni  Panchal (MSW ’11) has been selected as a keynote speaker for the 2025 West Coast Child Welfare Trainer’s Conference which takes place September 8–10, 2025 in Sacramento, CA.

Her keynote, titled “Thriving Together: Strategies to Navigate Burnout & Enhance Well‑Being,” will address the role of self-care in building individual and organizational resilience. The session will offer practical strategies for stress management, boundary setting, and fostering well-being among professionals in child welfare and related fields.

Panchal brings over a decade of experience in public child welfare, including work in emergency response, dependency, independent living, and adoptions. She currently trains child welfare and mental health professionals and teaches in the Social Work Graduate Program at San Francisco State University. She also operates a virtual private practice offering therapy, coaching, and wellness facilitation grounded in trauma-informed and equity-centered practices.
