Faculty Resource Guide for Inclusive Teaching
The Inclusive Teaching Faculty Resource Guide was designed by the Latinx Center of Excellence in Behavioral Health (LCOEBH) in support of a campus-wide initiative to advance the commitment towards inclusive excellence and to create a stronger sense of belonging for each member of the UC Berkeley community, in particular, the Berkeley Social Welfare community. The guide is divided into the following six sections: Implicit Bias in Higher Education, Microaggressions, Stereotype Threat, Recognizing Power and Privilege, New Practice Models With Latinx Populations, and Understanding Cultural Humility. Each section contains a list of tools and readings to help faculty examine their role in creating and maintaining a supportive academic environment for underrepresented students.
Best Practices in Telehealth - BIPOC Perspective
With the advent of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020, most mental health services went from being provided in-person to being provided virtually either by telephone or video chat. We, at the LCOEBH were interested in seeing how this unintended experiment was going. So we asked six talented local BIPOC behavioral health providers in this video, are experts describe the challenges and successes they've encountered. They also share their best practices in regards to telehealth.

Esta capacitación se basará en el manual BRIGHT (por su nombre en inglés) para tratar la depresión en contexto grupal. - Partnering with families and students to do needs assessments and set up mutual aid, and so many other important tasks
All of this is vital. And there are so many resources to turn to right now that tackle all the different things educators can be doing – many of them with their own personalized goals for what is important to learn and how quickly.
