Berkeley Social Welfare is pleased to announce that Karina Davis and Alishba Sardar, both second-year MSW students, have been selected for the Council on Social Work Education’s Minority Fellowship Program (MFP) for the 2025–26 academic year. Their selection is included in CSWE’s official 2025–26 MFP Fellows Directory.
The MFP, funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), supports master’s-level social work students committed to delivering culturally responsive mental health and substance use services to underserved and historically marginalized communities. As fellows, Sardar and Davis will receive specialized training, mentorship, and professional development designed to prepare emerging practitioners for leadership in behavioral health.
