Generalist Practice Curriculum Requirements
The Social Welfare MSW curriculum in generalist social work practice is completed in the first year. Requirements consist of four foundational courses taken by all students in the first semester; an introductory seminar in social research methods taken in the second semester; and a year-long (fall and spring semesters) generalist field practicum placement with required concurrent enrollment in field integrative seminars each semester.
