Elections Timetable
Nov. 6th - Begin/Open nominations
- Nomination forms will be passed out in Neil
Gilbert’s Policy class. Additional nomination
forms
can be found in the SWGA office or above the
mailboxes.
Nov. 14th - Final nominations due by 4pm
- Nomination forms can be turned in above the
mailboxes on the first floor of Haviland or to the
SWGA office.
Nov. 14th & 15th
- Nominated candidates will be contacted over email
and asked to submit a candidate statement.
Nov. 20th - Candidates must accept nomination by 4pm
- Candidates must accept nomination via email. If
candidate does not respond, it will be considered a
decline to run.
- Candidate statements must also be submitted at this
time.
Nov. 27th - OPEN ONLINE ELECTIONS AT 9AM
- Ballots can be found online at
http://socialwelfare.berkeley.edu/swga/index.htm
Dec. 4th - CLOSE ONLINE ELECTIONS 6PM
Dec. 11th & 12th - Winners will be notified via
email.
Jan. 16th - SWGA social at La Val's, 6pm
- All in-coming Rep will officially be announced and
connected WITH out-going Reps.
Feb. 6th - 1st SWGA meeting w/all reps, “passing
of
the torch”
Run-offs will take place between December 16th
