Center for African Studies Fellowships:
UC Berkeley's Center for African Studies offers a variety of fellowships for undergraudate and graduate (pre-dissertation and dissertation) students. The application deadline is Monday, February 9th, 2015.
CSWE Minority Fellowship Program:
The Mental Health & Substance Abuse Fellowship Program (MHSAFP) is designed for racial/ethnic minority individuals pursuing a doctoral degree in social work. Applicants must hold a social work master’s degree from a CSWE-accredited program. The application deadline is Saturday, February 28th, 2015.
Dirksen Congressional Research Grants:
Grants to fund research on congressional leadership and the U.S. Congress The Center encourages graduate students who have successfully defended their dissertation prospectus to apply and awards a significant portion of the funds for dissertation research. Applicants must be U.S. citizens who reside in the United States. The application deadline is Wednesday, March 1st, 2015.
Disability Determination Process Small Grant Program:
One-year stipend program that allows graduate students, both full and part-time, to conduct supervised independent research on improving the efficiency and reducing the complexity of disability determination processes.
Foreign Language and Area Studies (FLAS) Fellowships:
Fellowships provide funding to students to encourage the study of critical and less commonly taught foreign languages in combination with area studies, international studies or international aspects of professional studies. The purpose of the FLAS program is to promote the training of students who intend to make their careers in college or university teaching, government service, or other employment where knowledge of foreign languages and cultures is essential. The application deadline is Monday, February 2nd, 2015.

Founder Region Fellowship for Women:
Founder Region Fellowship offers grants to women enrolled in graduate school who have advanced to candidacy and are entering into the last year of their doctoral programs. These grants-in-aid are proffered to assist women in the completion of their doctoral degrees. Horowitz Foundation for Social Policy:
These awards support doctoral students in their research and dissertation preparation phase after their proposal has been approved by their committee. The deadline for 2014 proposals is January 31, 2015, though submission by December 15 is strongly encouraged to permit us adequate time to acknowledge receipt and notify candidates if their application is not complete.
Institute of International Studies Pre-Dissertation Research Grant:
Funding of up to $5,000 for graduate students who have not advanced to candidacy intended to support initial fieldwork by graduate students during Summer 2015. Projects should be international and/or comparative in nature, and/or related to the study of languages, and/or involve substantial research outside of the United States. The application deadline is Tuesday, January 20th, 2015.
Inter-American Foundation (IAF) Fellowship:

National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Consuelo W. Gosnell MSW Scholarship:
Stipend for MSW candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to working with, or who have a special affinity with, American Indian/Alaska Native and Hispanic/Latino populations. The application deadline is Wednesday, March 4th, 2015.
National Data Archive on Child Abuse and Neglect Summer Research Institute:
The Institute will be an intensive experience in secondary data analysis that combines colloquia with hands-on computing time. Participants are selected on a competitive basis from a variety of disciplines including psychology, social work, and medicine. The application deadline is Saturday, January 31st, 2015.
National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship:
The program recognizes and supports outstanding graduate students who are pursuing research-based master's and doctoral degrees in science and engineering. The GRFP provides three years of support for the graduate education of individuals who have demonstrated their potential for significant achievements in science and engineering.

Smith College Pre-Doctoral Fellowship:
The Bertha Capen Reynolds (BCR) Fellowship Program at the Smith College School for Social Work offers a twelve-month residential fellowship for a doctoral student in the dissertation phase of a social work Ph.D. program. The applicant must have completed all of the requirements for the doctorate except for the dissertation.
Social Science Research Council (SSRC) Dissertation Proposal Development Fellowship Program:
Assistance for early-stage doctoral students in the humanities and social science in formulating doctoral dissertation research proposals through workshops and a funded summer research program.
Society of Family Planning Research Fund:
