Cal-Child Welfare Leadership Training (Cal-CWLT) Program
The Cal-CWLT initiative prepares MSW students for leadership in child welfare practice post-graduation.
Students participate in the second year of the MSW program, and receive an annual stipend of $19,110 for one year. Select Social Welfare doctoral students may also be eligible to participate and receive the stipend as funding permits.
There is a contractual, one-year child welfare employment requirement post-graduation for participating MSW students.
Applications are distributed in early spring each year, for stipend awards given for the following academic year.
