Experience in the Field:
Barrie Robinson
has had extensive experience in a wide variety
of agencies serving older adults including adult day health care,
nursing home ombudsman, skilled nursing, a continuing care retirement
community, and HUD senior housing. She has participated in several special
research and training projects including the development of standards for
long term care case management, and geriatric interdisciplinary team
training. Most recently, she was a co-PI for a four year grant from the John
A. Hartford Foundation's initiative in strengthening social work training
in aging, and the project coordinator for the Consortium for Social Work Training
in Aging which developed an innovative curriculum for training social workers
in public sector aging services through this grant.
