Professor
Mary Ann Mason was appointed Dean of the UC Berkeley Graduate
Divison in August 2000. Dean Mason heads one of the nation's largest
graduate programs, with more than 8000 students in approximately
100 separate programs.
She is
currently on leave from the School of Social Welfare.
