The Social Welfare Library with its reading room is
located on the second floor of Haviland Hall in a beautiful
space designed by John Galen Howard in the Adamesque
style of late-eighteenth-century England. Head Social
Welfare Librarian Lora Graham and Reserve Supervisor
Craig Alderson conduct library orientations and offer
students assistance in accessing U.C. Berkeley's large
collections and many databases.
