Distinguished visitors and lecturers

Many distinguished scholars, community and political figures, and leaders in the field of social work visit the School each year. The School hosts several lecture series where students, faculty and visitors from the community can hear from these distinguished visitors. Hillary Clinton
visited the School in November, 1997 to promote the new Adoption and Safe
Families Act and to praise the analytical contributions of the School's researchers in understanding the dynamics of the child welfare system.
