should check with the department to make sure the course in which you
are interested will be offered in any given semester. If you wish to
request approval of an additional course, submit your request along
with a course syllabus to the Doctoral Chair. The Doctoral Chair will
forward the request to the Doctoral Research Chair for subcommittee

is Adelle Clarke, Ph.D., whose major areas of interest are women and
gender studies and science and technology. Both A and B must be taken
(fall & spring semesters). In order to enroll in the fall, you must
get human subjects clearance in the spring. You will begin preparation
for the fall course in June. You should call Professor Clarke at 415-476-0694
for additional information. You will need to complete an Intercampus
